Ratings Rant

14:28 Mar 25 2006
Times Read: 573

One of my pet peeves about rating is underating.

Look at my profile is it really a 5?. Is it really a 7?. Im not being big headed here i just think i have everything on bar fucking Quizzilla and that alone should get me a 10. Mostly i just think okay you rated me it was your choice but i do go back and look at the profiles that give me a low rate.

This Lass recently gave me a 5. She has fuck all on her profile apart from a pic of herself and a few lines. Shes a whelp. I Rated her a decent 7. I like to think im being fair with my rates, overly fair really because i dont like being mean. So she gave me a lower rating than i gave her. Ive gone back and rated her a 1 based on what must be her scale of rating because if mine is a five she doesnt even deserve a rate yet. These are the fuckers i really hate. I mean you cant be arsed to do fuck all with yours and you feel its okay to low rate those with better profiles than yours already. Let me beat you with a fucking 2 by 4 clue stick you silly fucker. Rant over.

Paris Trip

Saturday

Okay so we set off for Liverpool Airport at the ungodly hour of 5 a.m. It took us about an hour to get there, as traffic wasn’t so bad at that time in the morning. I bought some more Chanel no5, as I was already feeling very French, we boarded the Plane had a bit of a bumpy ride over the channel and arrived in Charles De Gaulle airport at 11 am .

I had bought some Zone 1-3 tickets thinking they where Zone 1-5 so after trying to get through the barrier to the Train station and failing we decided to just grab a cab to Le Rue de l’Echiquer. That’s where our Hotel was we arrived there at 12 noon.. We are priority club members at the Hotel were we had booked so we had expected to be able to go straight up top the room. No such luck, we where told the room wasn’t ready and to come back in an hour. So we checked in the luggage ((I had taken bags for a weeks worth of nights really)).

We had a stroll up the Rue de Faubourg and came to a huge arch, as big as the Arc de triumph really. So we went and sat in a brassiere, and ordered our first French Café. My French suck eggs big time so I was quite nervous. I managed it though and also managed to pay the man without getting arrested for crucifying the language.

We then went back to the Hotel and finally managed to get into our room to unpack and have a much-needed catnap.

When we woke up around 2 pm we grabbed a shower, put on our woollies (yes it was bloody freezing) and we headed off out. We walked down the Boulevard Strasbourg & then over St Denis to Boulevard de Sebastopol right down to the Quai de la Megisserie. A trek and a half I can tell you. Really we should have just got on the Metro but I am a chicken and didn’t want to get lost as I was tired from travelling.

After the trek of the century we ended up at the islands where we stood on one o f the main bridges and admired the view of the Seine River. Then we crossed over onto the main island and went to see the Notre Dame.

The Notre Dame was spectacular if not what I was expecting. I wasn’t expecting I to be so crowded by other buildings I always imagined it to be this huge building sitting on the Seine River itself. Maybe I watched too many films. It was impressive though. There was a service in progress as we arrived but we where still able to walk around the place. Some of the paintings in there where amazing. We also paid to go inside an offshoot gallery where some of the treasures where stored including the robes Napoleon wore when he was made Emperor. I’m not Catholic but I lit a candle and placed it on a stand under the Virgin Mary.

I have mixed feelings about these places. On the one hand I love going in them. I don’t feel closer to God or anything like that. I do however like to run my hands over the walls and doors knowing that someone hundreds of years ago touched that stone, lovingly put it into place, or carved the wood so intricately it could make you weep to look at the craftsmanship. Then you have the colours, red blue and green. Colours most people would not be able to comprehend in ages gone by. Can you imagine being the poorest of the poor and walking into that place or any like it? How they must have marvelled at the wonders before them. No wonder people had no problem believing in God back then. I know id love to be able to have the place to myself and lie down on that floor and look up at the ceiling or sit on a chair and gaze at the rose window. Listen to the bell chiming and just enjoy the total peace that you can find in these places. I often think I could find God then. Even though deep down I do not think he would approve of the places. Especially with the shops inside and the payment required for confession and candles. So many things about organised religion bug me and I found all of them there. I still loved it though.

We then went and sat outside and looked at the intricate stone carvings and the gargoyles for a while.

To finish off day one we walked along to Pont Neuf and took a riverboat trip around the islands. After all Paris is called the city of lights. To see most of the main attractions by boat at night was breath taking to say the least. The highlight of the trip being the Eiffel Tower.

We headed back to the Hotel. We had set off from it at 2.30 pm and arrived back there at 9.30 pm. Seven hours of walking more or less and my feet thought I had gone to hell. We decided to eat at the Hotel as it had A la Carte menus. I really wanted to try it out. I usually just grab steak and chips wherever we go as I know its safe but couldn’t be in France and not try out the cuisine. So that first evening I had a Foie Gras aperitif. Then Tuna fish with Sesame seeds & coriander with small sticks of vegetables, followed by a selection of sorbets and ice creams. My waiter had us in fits of giggles all night as he; bless him, looked like John Tickle. Which had my husband franticly trying to take his picture unobserved on his phone. Cultured we are not. Foie Gras by the way is disgusting.

We had coffee and then headed up to bed where I immediately became comatose. Paris and my little legs do not mix.

Day Two in Paris.

We got up, had breakfast and headed out the door ready to be at the Eiffel for 9.30 a.m. Having studied the Metro map at breakfast I was reasonably sure I could navigate our way there.

The Metro is like London underground but with fewer escalators and many more steps. The ride itself is a lot rougher too but it saved my legs and I wasn’t complaining.

So we arrived at the Eiffel around 9.30 a.m. and got in the Queue. Half an hour later we stepped inside the elevator to the second level. Neil had spent the time queuing trying to wind me up. I hate heights and nearly threw up going to the top of Blackpool tower. So I was expecting to be petrified. Neil ended up being petrified and I was okay. Ironic? Then we spent another 30 minutes queuing for the elevator to the top. I was so glad we had arrived early, as the queue was impressive already.

Nothing can quite prepare you for the view at the top of the Eiffel Tower. I just forgot to be scared. I think I actually forgot to breathe for a few seconds at first to be honest. I haven’t got the words to describe the effect it had on me. We spent around an hour up there taking pictures and just looking at the view. From up there you can see how everything is laid out. All the gardens and buildings how uniform everything is. It makes you think wow; people actually lived there, walked in those gardens because they owned them. It blows my mind just thinking about it.

After the usual tourist bit of buying out the gift shop we moved on to the Louvre. That place is unbelievable. We arrived there by Metro and when you get off the metro your underground and straight into a mall of shops, which lead out into the Louvre straight under the glass pyramid.

There are four floors to the Louvre, which are more or less a square formation with offshoots. That’s the best way I can describe it.

The main thing I wanted to see where sculptures and paintings. I’m not that cultured I’m afraid but I do have some favourites that I always wanted to see.

The Sculpture Victory of Samothrace circa 190 BC. The sculpture was found on a hill in 1863 .The Victory is a sculpture of a winged goddess. A sculptural masterpiece that dominates a wide sweeping staircase in the Dennon Square. As you stand at the bottom of the staircase you it seems a gust of wind had just swept before you to lift the folds of material. You can almost taste the tang of salt water lashing against her; imagine the folds of material sodden and clinging to the body revealing the form underneath it

The sculpture of Psyche Revived by cupids Kiss – Canova.

What can I say about this other than, as a woman it makes me want to be enfolded in those arms .It oozes sex appeal but with undertones of fragility and love. Probably not what your meant to feel but its what I felt.

There are not many paintings in the Louvre that spoke to me. Made me want to sit down and involve myself in their story. I’m not sure if this is my uncultured side crawling out or if it’s my usual feeling of Emperors new clothes syndrome.

I’m afraid I do think that a lot of people are sheep when it comes to art and find certain pieces fascinating just because they feel they should.

Georges De la tour Mary Magdalene by a Night-Light

In the French painting section there was a picture of Mary Magdalene in profile, her face illuminated by candlelight. Two books with, a large cross on which rests a rope sit on a table. A skull rests on her lap. The book description says that the Madeleine after a life of sin contemplates her life, that the rope is to chastise her with and that she is a hermit contemplating death.

It is one of those paintings that you can look at and fall into. My imagination ran riot on this one before I even thought about reading what the guide had to say about it. It does invoke a feeling that the woman is in deep contemplation. To me she looks pregnant too and the skull on her lap and the religious artefacts all told me a story that I embellished and ran with for 15 minutes whilst we sat and stared at it.

So many things I saw there I could write about but then id bore myself silly as well as anyone reading this.

Day Three

We had breakfast and headed on the Metro down to the Palais de Luxembourg. We grabbed some café au laits and walked around the Luxembourg gardens. They where pretty stunning. We sat and watched a few people gathered on the terraces practising some form of yoga. Had a bit of a giggle. Then we headed back for the Metro and walked on the Boulevard Saint Michel because Neil knew a song about it. Seemed as good a reason as any.

We then took the Metro up to the Basilique du Sacre Coeur. A spectacular thing to see , after climbing a winding little street full of quaint shops you come to the bottom of the steps leading up to it. I have pictures of that words cannot describe it. These steps lead up the centre of a hill to the Bassillica. We took the funiculaire half way up and then climbed up to the place. We spent half an hour wandering round inside. Then we decided we would go and see the crypt. What a mistake. We bought the wrong ticket and ended up climbing what seemed to be a thousand winding steps up to the Dome. Neil was scared ((I am so laughing as I write this)) he knew he was being irrational but because it was sloping he just didn’t feel safe. He kept saying he was too close to God and that was unnatural lol. So after nearly giving myself a heart attack we rested at the top in the dome and took a few pictures and then headed back down. Who needs a workout just visit this place.

When we got back to solid ground we walked around to the Place Du Tetre. (I think that’s what it was called I cant remember now. This is the square where all the artists fill a cobbled square and do portraits of the tourists or sell paintings. I didn’t have my portrait done as I get too embarrassed and I don’t think I’m any kind of a beauty. I chatted awhile with a woman who’s husband was mid portrait. I was impressed with the way he had done the eyes. They looked alive he had captured a certain element of the ladies character. That’s the only way I can describe it and I just loved his work. She was trying to get me to sit but just made me squirm after she told me I was not Hollywood star material but I was very charming. This amused Neil greatly as you can imagine and he was getting good mileage over it until we headed back towards the Metro. We where waylaid by street artists who wanted us to pose for a portraits, only thing is when they saw Neil one artist stopped him and said I he would do Neil’s face for free as it wasn’t often they got to capture a face like his. I was in hysterics as other Artists came over and where all laughing and saying he was right they would all love to capture his image. Neil being Neil was highly amused and not offended but declined. I called him Quasi for a while after. I just couldn’t stop laughing.

We then found a quite little brasserie and had crepes and coffee. It was a really nice day. After that we headed back to the hotel.

So that was my Paris trip in a nutshell, well maybe a coconut shell. I have pictures which ill add later.

Full blown Klippoths

by Tani Jantsang

Some observations on Klippoths that are very different than psychic vampires.

The full blown klippoths (from hereon FK) lie on an order of MAGNITUDE greater than clingers or psychic vampires . FK are caught in a web of lies and appearances of much greater degree. FK have MASTERED the art or SCIENCE OF LYING. They are WORSHIPERS of lies, a lie which they masterfully construct in manifold ways, which they are TOTALLY dependent on (like fish NEED WATER), lies they CLING to. Even their perceptions are LIES and illusions. Their bodies have BECOME ORGANS which detect or see falsely. They do this repeatedly, EVERY DAY, even when the lies are GLARINGLY false.

Their lives are DOMINATED by a cycle that originated or was initiated in their family backgrounds which continues: rebellion.. surfeit of rebellion.. stagnation (becoming STAGNANT, DEAD feeling numb).. conflict.. rebellion.. surfeit of rebellion.. stagnation.. conflict... etc. ON AND ON. The lies are TOTALLY obvious to all others, even to those who pretend to believe these lies, even to those who agree and confirm them. FK MAKE these lies for all to see, they display the lies to the marketplace. Their speech is lies. They can NEVER talk WITHOUT lying. They lie about practical things which can be VERY obstructive. FK never tell NEW lies, all their lies are old and have completely poisoned their entire lives. Expose them and they just repeat them seldom even bothering to change the lie into a new form of the lie. The lies have become their food, water, and air.

The FK's have an "oral-fixation" because the lies are like FOOD to them. Their eating habits are altered and confused though not rigid. CV eating habits are rigid, ordered, much more normal.

FK live in a contemplative world that CV do not live in at all. FK need "something" to THINK about, they need "thought recreation." Thought recreation is the closest FK ever feel to wholeness, whereas CV receive wholeness by DOING things, non-contemplative real things.

To FK, lies are FOOD. They go out to BUY or shop for lies, they do activities wherein they are cruising for lie-nourishment, like one who is shopping for food. They find lies or lie-opportunities, then they return home and put the lies in their place. The lies take on the form of "religion" or something they get into due to sublimation.

People only know they are lying when they speak, or speak in written word. Then, when they speak, it becomes completely obvious to all. FK lies, unlike when CV lie, only result in slight humiliation for them, at times. CV, when they lie, suffer much greater humiliation when they are caught in even lesser lies.

FK are never in places or activities suitable to them. FK allow decisions to hang INDEFINITELY, they do not just merely procrastinate. They lack any power due to this indecisiveness. This is not the case with CV who make decisions, they accomplished real things. One example is that FK NEVER carry out any punishment on anyone who is their obvious enemy, on people who have REALLY harmed them or tried to kill them. CV most certainly DO do this or they catch the person trying to harm them and nip it in the bud. FK are also unable to get enemies to submit in ANY case. This is connected to an old poisoning family situation or affair wherein they let an enemy of theirs in the family get away with harming them. They had difficulty dealing with the enemy. This "old meat" gets rotten and poisoning inside FK. Then, when this becomes an ever RENEWED problem later on, or when they seek to get their "DUE" later on, they arouse hatred against THEMSELVES to a GREAT DEGREE (consider it means SO GREAT, that FK might have people next to them, living with them, that want to MURDER them - and who might be trying to murder them). They then suffer disgrace. This old matter or affair lies or dwells deep in a PIT inside the FK's. Their actions, character and thoughts rest on it: this ROT has become their FOUNDATION! So it is not that they have no foundation or no root. They do, but it's inner-rot. They already GOT two chances to punish this enemy, one as a child and one in puberty. They let the chances pass. Thereafter begins an activity or project of "BECOMING SOMETHING GRANDIOSE" - something so grandiose that it will or could: "ILLUMINE THE WHOLE WORLD." Truth is, they are UTTERLY barren and illuminate nothing, they can't even enhance anything. They poison.

They are TRULY docile, bovine animals who have a cud they chew on all the time that is LIES. (The CUD is lies). This lie and chewing FEELS like "GREAT SUCCESS" to them. Many people with this kind of old family problem do NOT do this, but turn to chronic law-breaking and crime, end up in court all the time, and in jail. They have made themselves as completely dependent on LIES and "THE LIE" as things of nature are dependent on nature, as fish are dependent on water.

Their desire to be a perpetual BRIGHTNESS ILLUMINING THE ENTIRE WORLD feels to them to be a "BRILLIANCE OF MIND" which is entirely lacking. In fact: such brilliance of mind, or even the brilliance of Logic, is foreign and unknown to them. For people who put SO MUCH TIME and ALL THEIR ENERGY on "MENTAL BRILLIANCE" they are completely barren. They are DOMINIATED by "striving" for this, nonetheless. This striving is part of their being twisted and warped. They WANT. That is NOT "wannabe" or "I don't wannabe" it is an order of magnitude DIFFERENT.

Though CV experience rebellion, their rebellion is less confused, it is clear, it is also less cyclic, the CV's have lives that HAVE directive. FK have lives that LACK ANY OTHER directive. They are "LOST." When FK are intent on something, they have less caution than CV. FK achieve or find far less in life than CV who have real things in their lives. FK wander or go to and fro AIMLESSLY. CV do not do this, tho they do it at times. FK seek a "HELPER" waiting for the helper to come. They want the helper to be wise and able. FK seek to "HITCH" to this person, like a horse and wagon, like a "marriage." This is especially so during the confused REBELLION phases they go thru. FK are far greater obstructors than ever CV are. CV KNOW how to take advantage of real opportunity. CV are not homebodies, they like to go out, to venture forth, to travel for real pleasure away from home, completely away, outwardly and inwardly. FK are homebodies, they draw to "home" or its vicinity and do not like leaving it. FK LONG for "A HOME." CV do not. FK want to change "what is," not themselves. They are as if "NOT IN" themselves, as if they stand APART from THEMSELVES, out there, like some spirit thing trying to SHINE FORTH. EVERY SINGLE WORD FK speak, is a LIE, EVEN WHEN THE WORDS TELL TRUTHS, they USE the truths TO LIE! Anything that threatens to PENETRATE the LIE that IS themselves, is a THREAT to them - as if TRUTH ITSELF, even a mundane truth (John did not GIVE Joe a microwave, it's raining out, etc.) is great threat. ANYTHING said, is according TO a lie, as they did with their families. ALL LIES, about what they felt, did, said, thought, etc. All in order to maintain "correctness" of appearance. NOTHING was to gain friendship, or brotherhood. If they say I like this, I like that, it is a LIE. To get intimate, they LIE. To prevent anger against them, they LIE. They NEVER say anything in a clearly stated way, which they are ABLE to do easily - the murkiness is LIES. The closest they come to NOT-lying is JOKES, but they do not joke all the time. Feelings of manhood and womanhood they express are LIES. They get tired of it and break down a bit, then they tell SOME truth, or ONE truth, PART of a truth. They are secretive all the time 100% of what they say, even IF a truth comes out, there is a SECRET held back. They always know others doubt and mistrust them, they KNOW this - so they LIE MORE. Where they come from, trivial nothings are a big deal: eg "what food do you like?" They'll LIE. They have a completely false optimistic front they wear when they speak. When they feel oppressed they wont say it. If a truth starts to form, it turns into a lie, it HAS TO. They dont know HOW to tell a truth from start to finish. Lies dealt with all their problems. Their families were HELL. They never DO anything to fix or change something, or change inside, change themselves, instead, they LIE. LIES are helpers, friends, they RUN to lies.

They are threatened by - literally - EVERYTHING. They can't be sincere about how totally sensitive they are. They live all day avoiding danger, yet they way they do it COURTS DANGER, often REAL danger. This is why they ignore medical problems, these are nothing compared to THE OTHER. They SOAR in the clouds, they never or hardly ever are focused on what's in front of their faces, they lie instead. They lie about how 100% dependent they are on the praise of OTHERS. Praise from others is ALL to them. They are DEEPLY ashamed of a ROT they feel, and above all a sexual rotteness they feel. They won't tell, they'll LIE, they CAN NOT TELL it. They are ALWAYS braced against what people say about them. The UNCONSCIOUS lying all comes from their feeling utterly lame and unfit. Often what is lame and unfit is not visible, or not easily visible unless you know what to look for. WHAT are they rebelling against? REALITY, LIFE, the fucking COSMOS, the "what is", the TRUTH, reality.
